Josh’s winning CSM list was led by three Chaos Lords for solid bodies that also have a once-per-battle buff for those critical rounds. Cypher is the last HQ which acts as a great lone operative that is surprisingly efficient.

The first battleline brings in chaff Cultists to help soak up damage or sit on objectives.

The rest of the basic troops are three units of Legionaries for some solid stats that lean towards melee combat.

Transports bring in three Rhinos to help get the melee threats up the board without taking too much damage in the early rounds. Two Vindicators bring in more tanks, this time with ranged firepower to help take out enemy threats instead of protecting your own.

The CSM units end on two units of Chosen for some great elite bodies that (in this list) act as more melee threats.

Allied in units then close out the list with a unit of Nurglings to help wound soak, and four units of Rubric marines for durable and efficient ranged models that can help clear out chaff thanks to their Soulreaper cannons.

It will be interesting to see how these lists morph into new ones based on the Balance Dataslate.

The Glasshammer GT showcased some impressive displays of strategic prowess and tactical Warhammer 40k acumen with these army lists. Chaos Space Marines, Necrons, and World Eaters claimed the top spots, showcasing a potential shift in what players should consider.

Overall, studying these lists can provide valuable insights and inspiration for your own army-building for both newer Warhammer 40k players and pros alike.
