Go Go Genestealer Rangers: Must See Meta-Morphin’ Parody

morphin genestealer cult

It’s 40k Morphin Time! If you love the Mighty Morphin Power Randers, you don’t want to miss these hilarious parody featuring the Genestealer Cults that are on the rise!

All of these GSC products are going to be available on February 9th and we still have yet to see all of the fine details of these units get previewed. Keep in mind that there’s still time for GW to throw us a bone! However, hype for the faction is only getting stronger as we close in on the Codex release.

MetaMorphin’ Cultists Arise

Check out the video that Giga-Bites cafe made on their Facebook!

Hilariously enough, the Cultists are all painted to similar colors from the Power Rangers. Imagine making planetfall out of a Drop pod and seeing a band of Neophytes in tights cartwheeling around poorly-placed explosive charges. You’d just need to call in an Exterminatus and hope that no one saw anything.

Now let’s check out the pre-orders of wave one, which you may just want to order from Giga-Bites cause of all the time they put into this video!

99120117014_GSCAtalanJackals06 (1)

Atalan Jackals are your basic Neophyte Hybrids that chose to ride into battle with some dirtbikes and ATVs. For every four Bikes, you can take the ATV called the Wolfquad. He’s your “heavy weapons guy” of the unit. The Atalan Jackals are lucky enough to get their own HQ unit as well.

The Jackal Alphus is the HQ unit for her Jackals. She comes loaded with a sniper that can really pack a punch. But perhaps her best use is to just target units for everyone around her to hit better. She sort of acts like a Spotter more than a Sniper.

Able to ally with the Tyranids, or even include corrupted Astra Militarum Detachments, the Genestealer Cults are a rewarding army and a worthy addition to your collection of codexes.

This codex comes with a token sheet for keeping track of the Cult Ambush rules. Rather than deploy your army, you’ll deploy the included Ambush markers, allowing you to tailor your deployment and prey upon the weak spots in your opponent’s line. Additionally, you’ll find a range ruler for setting up units from reserve.

This guy is the hidden bodyguard to other Cult characters. He may not look like much, but if an enemy unit gets too close to one of your characters, he can heroic intervene for 6″ and explode into a flurry of attacks. He also gets to fight first.

With Genestealer Cults usually being found on industrial worlds, it only makes sense that the Cult would want to commandeer something like the Tectonic Fragdrill. This thing is going to operate like a terrain piece with rules. Even if you don’t have a use for it on the table, it would make a fantastic accent piece to your diorama.
