If you can’t make it to stores to buy the limited release of Gorzag and Nikkit, fear not, they can be ordered as MTO minis!
For those of us who can’t make it to a GW store, this is our chance to grab these minis. But, they are only available for a week! A Warhammer Community post revealed today that we’ll have a small window to MTO these, so don’t wait around too long.
However, when you click the link on the site it takes you to the UK version of the site. When you click back to the USA version, it just gives you a 404 error, so hopefully, that’s fixed before too long and we’ll be able to order them in the USA as well.
Gorzag & Nikkit Are Orderable from GW (well sort of)
Once again, the model is a “Commemorative Model”. It came first to GW Warhammer Stores from December 26th until January 3rd. They had originally said it would get an online release, we just didn’t know it was going to be MTO. So if you want this, but missed it in stores, this seems to be the last possible way to grab it (other than the secondary market).
Hopefully, with this being MTO and a store release, the prices won’t skyrocket in a month or so when stock is scarce. The only other thing they don’t mention is when this will actually ship, but some of the previous MTO stuff took a long time, so don’t get your hopes up for a fast turnaround!
If you’ve seen the old Gorzag model, you see many callbacks like the boots and knife! You may also realize he lines up pretty well with the original art of him from the game/book Gorkamorka. There were some people asking about potential special rules, but It looks like they won’t be receiving any special rules and should just be used as a normal Nob.
This diabolical duo makes an incredible addition to any Ork collection. They can be easily used as a Nob and accompanying Ammo Runt in games of Warhammer 40,000 or as an interesting and unique painting challenge.
Just be sure, if you want this mini, get on it soon! If it goes anything like the other limited releases we’ve seen, it could go for way more in a couple of months on the secondary market!
