GW’s latest Warhammer rumor engine preview clearly includes a new flamethrower, but what faction and game system will it be for?

Guns Spittin’ Fire Teaser: GW Rumor Engine Preview

Here’s the latest Rumor Engine from Games Workshop. As usual, there are some interesting possibilities for what it could be! Whatever the case, we can’t wait to see what Games Workshop has in store when it’s finally revealed. Let’s check out what it could be and try to guess until then!

Looking at this bit, it is very clearly a muzzle on a new flamethrower primed and ready to spit flames! As for which faction and game system it goes with, that’s much more open-ended, and pretty much anything goes. The faction most known for flamers is Sisters of Battle, so that’s a safe bet!

Other options could be Chaos, with their whole pillaging and destruction aspect, and Specialist game warbands, which are another easy placement. It is, however, almost definitely not in the Age of Sigmar or The Old World, as they don’t have the technology!

Still, though… who knows? Curve balls happen, and specialist games usually get some super unique models. We will have to wait and see!
