Warhammer 40k’s Xenos units are going up in price as well. Check out the percentage of increase for Xenos units with some over 20%

If you haven’t heard, GW announced that their prices would be increasing on some of their products. Looking at Space Marines first, here’s a deeper look at the percentage increase on their units!

Gw price increases

All of the Xenos factions have had some kind of cost increase. We’ll be going over each of their factions showing you the exactly which units got hit and how hard.

Eldar

Look at the Eldar in a broad sense, Craftworld and Drukhari had most of the changes. The average increase for Eldar looks to be about 15.27% across the board. The average cost increase per item is about $5.

Orks

The entire Speed Freeks line went up $5 as well as some of the most meta units we’ve been seeing so far in 8th. If you’re thinking about getting into Orks, be prepared to spend even more on your army than before.

The average increase for Orks looks to be about 12.53% across the board. The average cost increase per item is about $6.

Necrons

Necrons, in general, haven’t had that many price adjustments. It’s interesting to note that now that the Doomscythe is seeing some play in the meta, it’s going up about 20%.

The average increase for Necrons looks to be about 12.09% across the board. The average cost increase per item is about $5.

Tyranids

Tyranids are in the same boat as all of the other factions we’ve covered. Oddly enough, most of the units that are increasing in cost haven’t been extremely prevalent in the Tyranid 8th edition meta.

The average increase for Tyranids looks to be about 12.67% across the board. The average cost increase per item a little over $4.

Genestealer Cults

The Genestealer Cults changes all have to do with the latest characters and vehicle to hit the faction. We’re a bit surprised we haven’t seen the Atalan Jackals go up, but hey, we’re okay with it. GSC is a faction that relies heavily on their characters and these guys all increased in cost.

The average increase for GSC looks to be about 18.89% across the board. The average cost increase per item is about $5.

Tau

The Tau are having a pretty even spread of units across their faction.  It’s surprising that we haven’t seen Riptides or Drone Teams make this list seeing how popular they are.

The average increase for Tau looks to be about 10.42% across the board. The average cost increase per item is about $4.

Overall, the cost increases might be small across the board for the Xenos factions. But that really adds up quick. That being said, you can still find some pretty great deals on eBay!
