GW Confirms Chaos Knights & Traitor Guard for BFS Next Week!

Chaos Knight

GW just confirmed Chaos Knights and those dope renegade traitor guardsmen from the Adepticon Previews are coming to pre-orders next week!

It is happening! Hot on the heels of Apocalypse, Choas Knights and Renegades are en route to pre-orders this week. Warhammer community dropped the lineup of new releases for July 6th. Join us as we take a look at the latest previews for all these products!

Chaos Knights Codex

…followers of the Chaos Gods will feel like they have been blessed. First up is a new codex, featuring all of the background and rules for Chaos Knights alongside specific Stratagems and Warlord Traits.

You’ll also be able to declare your traitorous Fallen house as either Iconoclast (those who follow a twisted code of chivalry) or Infernal (those sworn to the Dark Mechanicum) and select Pacts and Damnations for your Dreadblade Knights. A new model kit is also on the way, which will let you build your choice of Knight Desecrator (a mid- to close-range powerhouse) or a Knight Rampager (a frenzied close-combat butcher).

So it looks like there may be some custom house rules to come for Iconoclasts, or potentially Infernals.  Pacts look promising, hopefully, they line up with normal benefits of the four major Choas powers!

Plus whats a release without accessories?

Traitor Command

The heresy is far from over, as another Chaos release is on deck as well for Blackstone Fortress!

Your explorers have found the hidden vault and conquered the lair of the Ambull – now it’s time for a fresh challenge. The heretics of the Grendish 82nd have arrived at the Blackstone Fortress to enact a profane ritual.

There are also rules for using these two models in Warhammer 40,000 as well as all of the cards, counters and tiles required to play a new quest within the Blackstone Fortress.

You’ll be able to pre-order all of these heretical items next weekend

So coming in hot right after Apocalypse will be the new Knights!  What do you think about the new Chaos Knight kit? Have you already converted these Imperial models to Chaos? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
