GW Drops New 40k Forge World Imperial Armor Rules FAQ

new-faqs warhammer 40kGW just dropped a new Forge World FAQ to keep the Imperial Armor Compendium up to date for Imperial and Chaos Knights!

You know the drill, a couple of new books have been out for a little while now, but this time it’s not making changes to the actual codex books but to the Forge World Imperial Armor Compendium. This will let you still use your FW models with all the right keywords, rules, and whatnot.

Forge World Imperial Armor Compendium FAQ to Update Chaos (September 13th, 2022)

40k faq Armour Compendium 1

The Hades Breaching Drill sees a clarification made in the ability rules to change how it can interact with mission rules. An overall small change that might affect some fringe instances.

40k faq Armour Compendium 2

Hekaton Siege Claw just sees a verbiage change, with functionality remaining the same.

40k faq Armour Compendium 3

The next chunk has a few changes. First stratagems are gone, second old abilities are deleted with new abilities added (Let the Galaxy Burn, Disgustingly Resilient, Sickly Resistance, Daemonic, and Infernal Regeneration). They also patched up keywords to match up with the new ones in the codex for Chaos.

More of the same as above, removing old abilities, changing keywords, and then changing Possessed to take up 2 model slots in transports.

40k faq Armour Compendium 5

Changing Chaos Knight classification to Abhorrent-class is another simple change.

The last section of new changes here is more ability changes to match the rest, and the Hell Talon and Fellblade both got some verbiage changes.

That’s really it this time around. A nice FAQ to change keywords, verbiage, and some ability swap. It is nice to see nothing NERFed immediately.  Download the FAQ here!

Forge World FAQ to Update Imperial & Chaos Knights (June 1st, 2022)

This one is really not that big, so we’ll have all the changes for you here; still, even though it’s not big, it’s good to know what’s changing. If you want to download the new FAQ, you can here. Let’s jump into the changes!

Forge World FAQThis is pretty simple but now they are called Noble Households, so obviously, the keyword needed to be changed. Then, all the Imperial Knights gain the Code Chivalric rule as well.

Forge World FAQ 2Nothing crazy here; they just change from a vehicle squadron to an Armiger Squadron.

Forge World FAQ 3Then, for all the Chaos Knights, there are similar changes, with all the Chaos Knights gaining the Harbingers of Dread keyword. Then, the War Dog gets the same treatment when it goes from Vehicle Squadron to War Dog Squadron.

That’s really it this time around; a nice small FAQ to just change keywords, which is nice to see nothing nerfed immediately.  Download the FAQ here!
