With all the new FAQ’s still fresh in our minds, Games Workshop has just released an update to the Alpha Legions FAQ. Come take a look at the latest update.

A few weeks ago we received a huge update to all the FAQ’s in Warhammer, today there’s an adjustment to an Alpha Legion: Sons of Alpharius section. Let’s take a look.

Cult Uprising: When a unit of Chaos Cultists from this Detachment is completely destroyed, you may add 1 to the dice roll for the A Tide of Traitors special rule when determining whether or not a new unit is placed into Ongoing Reserves.

So to break it down a little, the original rule stated roll a D6 and on a 4+ you can add a new unit into the Ongoing Reserve, now you only need a 3+. The odds just jumped from a 50% success rate to pretty much a 66% chance of success. That seems like a pretty good deal when you’re trying to bring new units into your Ongoing Reserve.

What are your thoughts?

Does this seem like a fair or needed update to the Traitor Legions? Let us know in the comments below.
