GW is hiring a Warhammer 40k studio proofreader editor to make all their new releases squeaky clean, is this the job for you?
You would be working closely with all the different studio elements who pump out 40k content to proofread and spruce it all up! If you’ve always wanted to work at GW, and have the skills, this could be the opportunity for you! There have been a couple of issues lately with stuff coming out with, shall we say, some copypasta issues, so you could be the one to keep it tight!
On top of having a fun job, who wouldn’t want up to 50% off on all your GW stuff? We’re not sure if they’re changing up the staff or the new hire will be more of an add-on to the team, but it seems like a good thing all around. They have also been posting a decent amount of jobs recently, with the last one being for an App Developer.
GW is Hiring a Warhammer 40k Studio Editor
Let’s check out the listing and see what it’s all about. Just keep in mind, you have to apply by Sunday, December 13th, 2020. This also looks like it is most likely a job for Nottingham only, but doesn’t say it can’t possibly be a remote job. You may just have to work on the UK schedule no matter where you are! Don’t wait around and miss the opportunity!
Citadel Editor
We are looking for an excellent communicator with a high standard of English. You’ll have a good comprehension of the rules and background for Warhammer 40,000, and the initiative to fill gaps in your own knowledge – previous experience in editing and in using Adobe Acrobat, InDesign, and G Suite will also be beneficial when applying for this role. You will work directly with our teams of talented writers, graphic designers, and translators, providing appropriate feedback and support to ensure that the products we release are the best they can be.
We know that delivering consistent, accurate, and error-free products while juggling multiple projects and prioritizing deadlines is what makes this job hard.
Requirments
Those candidates who successfully reach the next stage of the recruitment process will be asked to participate in an online test to further establish their suitability for this role.
Essential Qualification: A minimum of grade A*-C in A-Level English or a BA Humanities degree (or equivalent qualification)
If you have those skills and want to help make the copy amazing, we want you to apply! You can apply by sending them a letter or video of why you would be perfect for the job. This one seems pretty straightforward, they want someone who can make all of their releases better and correct.
