GW Reveals 8 New Pre-Orders: 40k Gaunt’s Ghosts, & More

Next-Week-New-gaunts-ghost8 new pre-orders are here from GW including the awesome new Gaunt’s Ghosts 40k miniatures, a new upgrade sprue for Cadians, and more!

Warhammer Community just let us in on all the new releases for pre-order this coming Saturday. Let’s go over the line-up starting with the new Gaunt’s Ghosts pre-orders.

The big question is will the ridiculous allocations continue?

ghaunts ghostsFeast your eyes on the new plastic kit featuring Ibram Gaunt and five of the most well-known Ghosts from their early years. In addition to being a great collector’s piece, they’re brilliant on the tabletop too. Stay tuned next week as we take a look at how to deploy them in your games of Warhammer 40,000.

If you have read any of the books you know how badass these guys were, if not, they definitely look amazing and might be good on tabletop too!

Cadian Shock Troops Upgrade Sprue

While it definitely would have been nice to get a new Cadian kit, an upgrade sprue is the next best thing. If you are a dedicated player, these sprues will add a ton of variation to your forces.

Lizardmen Team Card Pack, Dice Set, and Double-sided Pitch and Dugout Set

Meanwhile, under the loving gaze of Nuffle, a set of releases is coming for one of Blood Bowl’s more monstrous teams. A Team Card Pack, Dice Set, and Double-sided Pitch and Dugout Set is available to pre-order for Lizardmen teams from Saturday. If you coach this team, it’s a good week to add some crucial accessories to your roster.

While they might not be getting a big update, these be additions will help you feel like they did. All-in-all a welcome update.

White Dwarf 465

Lastly, issue 465 of White Dwarf is just over the horizon. Featuring Crusade rules and background for the Tome Keepers, the White Dwarf team’s home-grown Space Marine Chapter, as well as Hero creation rules for ogors and Mega-Gargants in Warhammer Age of Sigmar, it’s jam-packed with all the Warhammer goodness you know and love. 

The Vincula Insurgency: Ghost Dossier 1

Our foray into the Black Library starts with The Vincula Insurgency: Ghost Dossier 1, a new tale from the early days of the Tanith First and Only’s history. This book comes in a special mega edition boxed set, complete with a host of extras including two maps, three Imperial coins, a Tanith hat pin, a cloth patch, and more.

Tons of neat collectables mean if you’re fan of Gaunt’s Ghosts, this is definitely for you.

The Sabbat Worlds Crusade

For those who really want to delve into the background of The Sabbat Worlds Crusade, a book packed with exhaustive lore, gorgeous artwork, and more will soon be gracing your coffee tables. It’s an essential companion to the Gaunt’s Ghosts series and comes in a stylish limited edition with five commemorative coins and three art prints. 

As another collector’s item relating to the Gaunt’s Ghosts, this is more of a public display book if you are into that.

Sabbat War and Urdesh: The Serpent and the Saint

Alongside these two star players, you can also pre-order hardback and ebook versions of Sabbat War and Urdesh: The Serpent and the Saint, two stories set during the epic war, and top it off with a fetching Ibram Gaunt bookmark. All of this is arriving for pre-order on Saturday, so set your clocks and get yours before they’re gone.

Spend the time listening to two fantastic audiobooks that are available to download immediately on Saturday. Straight Silver follows Gaunt’s Ghosts as they’re thrown into the chaos of trench warfare during one of the Crusade’s most desperate battles, while in Dead Sky, Black Sun, Uriel Ventris plunges into the Eye of Terror to atone for his banishment from the Ultramarines Chapter.
