Next Week New image of blood angels space marine heroes series 2 terminator new release revealed

Here is the new lineup of Made to Order Space Marine 40k products, including Firstborn and Heroes Series Two releases, which are hitting pre-order this week!

Games Workshop has just revealed its latest releases for Warhammer 40k, including another chance to score the Terminator models from Space Marine Heroes Series 2 and a new Firstborn Command Squad based on the classic kit from 2005, which will be available for pre-order this week.

Space Marines Are Back for the Holidays

Forget eggnog and ugly sweaters; the real holiday treat this year is the return of some classic Space Marine kits. Two iconic sets are making a limited-time appearance, and they’re practically begging to be added to your collection. It’s like the Emperor himself decided you’ve been extra good this year. Let’s see what’s up for grabs.

They will be available from GW on Saturday, December 14th, around 1 p.m. EST in the States, until December 22nd, 2024. Made-to-order releases from Games Workshop are generally fulfilled in 6 months to customers. If you’re still waiting on something to hit pre-order, check out the latest Warhammer new release Roadmap for 2025, here.

Space Marines: Company Command Made To Order

Leading from the front—or maybe just standing around looking awesome—this set of eight high-ranking Space Marines is perfect for anyone who wants their army to scream “we’re in charge here.” You’ll get:

  • A Captain who probably never skips leg day
  • A Chaplain who has some very stern opinions on heresy
  • A Librarian (not the book-shelving kind, though he’s still all about knowledge)
  • A Company Champion who’s ready to duel anything with a pulse—or without one
  • An Apothecary who’s part battlefield medic, part mad scientist
  • A Company Ancient carrying a flag so big, it’s a wonder he can lift it
  • Two Veterans who’ve seen it all and aren’t impressed

This squad is up for pre-order between December 14th and 22nd, but there’s a catch: you might have to wait up to 180 days for delivery. Don’t worry—it’ll give you time to clear out some shelf space.

Space Marines: Heroes of the First Company

If you like your Space Marines with even more armor and a side of extra intimidation, this is your set. Decked out in Terminator armor (basically walking tanks), these warriors are ready to take on anything short of a collapsing star. Here’s what you’re getting:

  • A Captain who exudes “boss energy”
  • An Ancient who’s all about making sure the past stays relevant
  • Three Assault Terminators for smashing and bashing
  • Five regular Terminators (if you can call walking fortresses “regular”)

They’re available during the same short window as the Company Command set, so don’t dawdle. You don’t want to be the one Space Marine fan who missed out.

Sons of the Hydra (Mp3 Audiobook)sundaypreview-dec8-bl_01-sons hydra mp3-art and cover

Meanwhile, for anyone who likes their lore with a side of mystery and betrayal, Sons of the Hydra by Rob Sanders delivers in spades. Follow Occam the Untrue (great name, by the way) as he and his Alpha Legion crew try to save their entire Legion while dodging the Inquisition. It’s part galactic heist, part soul-searching odyssey, and totally worth your listening time. Bonus: it pairs nicely with hobby time.

Final Thoughts On This Week’s Made To Order Pre-Orders

The holidays are for treating yourself, and these classic Space Marine releases are the perfect excuse. Whether you’re adding some high-ranking command figures, bulking up your Terminator squad, or just diving into some lore (and, okay, maybe painting a miniature or two), there’s something here to brighten your tabletop. Act fast, though—these sets are playing hard to get.
