GW Will Never Do This (but they probably should)

40k-app-developerHere is how Games Workshop could take Warhammer+ to the next level by borrowing something from one of the most successful companies ever!

We’ve all seen the problems with Warhammer+ and covered them fairly extensively, so instead of just pointing out what’s wrong, let’s throw an idea out there!

They are currently looking for new animators, showing just how hard it can be to keep the level and consistency of that side up. So, with the lack of new animations (and the possibility of more now), they have to do something to get people in the door.

GW Will Never Do This (but they probably should)

Warhammer + plus announcement

This actually came from Ed Alexander on the Hobbies Page, and it makes a lot of sense.

Considering GW more or less took the idea for Warahmmer+ from Disney+, they might as well double down and take it to the next level and copy Amazon Prime too.

We know they offer free shipping on most orders, but just like Amazon, for a little extra charge to each month’s sub, you could get Warhammer PRIME! This could get you something like 2-day upgraded shipping for free.

This could be helpful in more ways than one. First, if you got free shipping from GW and Forge World, all you would have to do is order once a month, and you would make your money back right there.

Right now, they offer free shipping on orders over $32 (which is basically everything). However, the normal shipping really sucks (at least in the States).

So, you could grab that upgraded shipping on all your orders and get your stuff faster. Then, if you order anything from FW, this could save you some serious cash (that only gives free shipping on orders over $120).

So, with the current price, a single order a month would pay for the app in terms of shipping. Plus, at this point, they need to do something to reel people back in. While they do things with promotions, this would give a constant value that doesn’t change.

Every month, you would be grabbing that upgraded shipping on all your orders, not have to worry about what random promotion they are running that month.

40k app feature rThis would also be good for GW, as it would get more people buying on the store (basically doubling their profits from you buying other places), and it gets more people on the app.

Lastly, it would get people buying more minis more often. If you knew you would get it in two days and you would be taking advantage of your subscription, it would want people to order at least once a month. Nothing crazy, but hey, upgraded 2-day shipping sounds good to us!

Would something little like this take you over the edge and actually get on the app?
