GW’s New Warhammer Events & US Open Tournaments For 2024

gw-tournamentsMore Games Workshop and Warhammer World events have been announced, along with the US Open 40k and AoS tournaments for 2024.

Games Workshop, along with independent organizers, are hosting exciting events and tournaments at Warhammer World in Nottingham and various locations in the States, including the US Open, throughout the year. These tournaments will cater to most major games from Games Workshop, including Kill Team, 40k, and Age of Sigmar. It’s an excellent opportunity for hobbyists to participate and play their favorite games.

Games Workshop Events & US Open Warhammer Tournaments

These events are celebrations of a community that shares a love for Warhammer. While they may take place in a convention center in the US or be hosted at Warhammer World itself in the UK, these events are all prestigious and highly anticipated, not just ordinary tournaments.  Here are some of the biggest Warhammer events you can attend this year!

Muster a 2,000 point army for five matched play games across two days – you’ll also have a shot at painting and sportsmanship awards.

Grand tournaments are always an experience, and at Warhammer World, you bet there will be some great-looking armies!

Muster your kill team and re-enter the Gallowdark in three matched play games of Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team. This one day tournament will see players take on a series of Critical Operations: Close Quarters missions as they battle for supremacy.

Cherokee open 2024 10

The event will run from February 23-25, 2024. So, there is plenty of fun to be had, plus the casino it’s being held at looks pretty awesome. They will be running a Warhammer 40k tournament, a 40k doubles tournament, an AoS tournament, and a Star Wars Legion tournament.

Frontline Gaming Rocky Mountain Open 2

This year, it’s running from March 16th-17th, 2024, in Denver, Colorado.  The fairground is pretty close to the airport as well if you’re flying in! The RMO is going to be at the same place as last year, the Adams County Fairground, which looks pretty stunning. They will be running a Warhammer 40k tournament, a 40k doubles tournament, an AoS tournament, an MCP, and a Star Wars Legion tournament.

8tc 8-Player Team Championships

The 8TC is also the First Event on the National Tabletop League 8-Player 2024 Circuit.
Ran in conjunction with The National Tabletop League, this event is it’s own special team event.

This event will use the WTC and NTL rules and format and brings an exciting new level of team play to the 40k Community!

ATC 2024The ATC tournaments are always so much fun! If you want to play some team games with your friends, these are the best ones we’ve found. They have one coming up in April, so if you want to play a big event, be sure to grab your tickets before they are gone!

Most of the GW games sell out very quickly, especially 40k, so if you want to play any of them, get them early and don’t wait! However, be sure to use the links above, as there could be some issues if you go to the main AdeptiCon site.

Here is the latest on Games Workshop’s US Open tournament series for 2024.

Warhammer Tournaments 2024

Each stop on the US Open Series is a weekend packed full of Warhammer games in a  tournament setting, and this year the roadshow will be heading to Dallas TX, Tacoma WA, Tampa FL, before reaching Atlanta GA, which will host the Grand Narrative and the finals of the World Championships of Warhammer, bringing together qualified players from amazing independent events around the world.

2024 US Open Warhammer Tournaments Series

Every event includes our travelling events store, featuring a massive range of Warhammer items – including Forge World resin expert kits – as well as event-exclusive swag such as Faction Objective Mats, and this year’s incredible Commemorative Series event miniatures.

Tickets go on sale on Saturday the 10th of February at 6pm GMT / 1pm EDT.

Qualifying World Championships of Warhammer Tournaments

Games Workshop hasn’t announced all the qualifiers yet, but if you’re running a tournament this year, you can apply to have your event be a qualifier here! Last year, there were over 75 qualifying events, and they say this year will be even bigger!

Whether you’re a veteran general seeking to test your skills or newer to the tournament scene overall, these events offer an unparalleled experience for all hobbyists!
