Get the full rundown and prices a for the new Adeptus Titanicus bundles, Blood Bowl, and Forge World lineup this week from Games Workshop.

This week is all about variety for the Warhammer Hobby as we take a look at new releases from The Horus Heresy, Blood Bowl, and Adeptus Titanicus. Let’s dive in!

Jenetia Krole $56

jenetia Krole

ssassin, general, avenger and soul-chilling terror, Jenetia Krole was a creature of dark legend long before she was committed as part of the honour guard tasked with the retrieval of the Primarch Magnus.

Upon the battlefield of Tizca, Krole was personally responsible for the division of her ranks into protectorate detachments for the remainder of the Censure Host, a matter which allowed them to ensure the near-destruction of the Thousand Sons Legion at the sacrifice of thousands of her troops, while she herself sought out and slew many of the Thousand Sons’ most vaunted sorcerers in hand-to-hand combat.

By the time of the battle’s ending, she appeared a spectral figure of some ancient myth, bedecked in the white dust of shattered marble and the spilled blood of multitudes.

Jenetia’s rules can be found in book 7: Inferno.

Roxanna Darknail $28

roxanna darknail

As one of the Darkside Cowboys’ most successful players, Roxanna makes such a show of spilling the blood of her foes that it is rare indeed when she does not end a match with her skin slick with the blood of fallen opponents. And the fans love it, especially the cruel-hearted Dark Elves and other, equally mean-spirited types.

Some however claim that Roxanna uses her status and role as a means of retaining her youthful features and soft, pale skin, and indeed several cosmetics brands have sought to sponsor her in order to be associated with such a starkly beautiful player. Others whisper that as a Witch Elf, Roxanna is compelled to bathe in the blood of her enemies lest she age and wither into a stooped crone – none to have voiced such a suspicion, however, have lived to repeat it.

Dark Elf Assassins $31

Dark Elf Assassins

Trained in the arts of silent murder their whole lives, assassins are the means by which Druchii society turns and maintains its vitality. Many vacancies in various political or financial institutions have popped open to the benefit of a young aspirant at the point of an assassin’s blade.

One important side note is that these assassins, as well as Roxanna, are Resin. The Naggaroth Nightmares team os plastic, however.

Back to Games Workshop proper, here’s what you can expect to see on pre-order this weekend:

Adeptus Titanicus Reaver Battle Titan: $60

A gargantuan war machine, the Reaver Titan is one of the most common and destructive classes of Battle Titan. Armed with devastating weapons and able to crush enemies under its tread by the score, the ground shakes as the Reaver advances and the enemy is left with a choice: flee or die. Reavers are the heart of the Titan Legions, holding the line or leading the charge as their Princeps demand.

This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble a Reaver Battle Titan for use in games of Adeptus Titanicus. Particularly aggressive-looking, even compared to its contemporaries, this highly-detailed Titan is easily recognised by its flattened face profile and angular carapace. It comes armed with several weapon options – a laser blaster and gatling blaster are available, with a power fist that can be modelled either clenched or open. Above the carapace – of which 2 are included, 1 blank – resides an apocalypse missile launcher, either side of which are the shoulder pads (3 sets are included, 1 set loyalist, 1 set traitor and 1 set blank.) Further modelling options include the knee pads – 2 of these are blank, with 1 depicting the symbol of the Opus Titanicus.

This kit comes as 122 components, and is supplied with a Citadel 105mm Oval base along with a decal sheet – this features heraldry for the following Legios: Gryphonicus, Fureans, Astorium, Atarus, and Mortis.

A double-sided card Blood Bowl pitch, complete with matching dug-outs, this is the perfect place for your Nurgle teams to play. The dug-outs are themed to match, and feature score trackers, reserves, Knocked Out and Serious Injury boxes, Down trackers for both halves, and a re-roll tracker.

The pitch is made to the same specifications as the board included with the Blood Bowl boxed game, and includes rules for play with the sticky plant life trying to hinder your match.

The Rotters rose to fame long ago, having the distinction of being one of the earliest Chaos teams on the circuit to dedicate themselves to a single Chaos god – Grandfather Nurgle himself. Their patron was delighted, lavishing gifts and mutations upon his favoured followers. Today, despite numerous recent setbacks, the Rotters stand poised to once again spread their influence across the leagues and tournaments of the world, bringing Nurgle’s blessings to lands far and wide…

This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble Nurgle’s Rotters, a particularly foul and dripsome Nurgle team for use in games of Blood Bowl. Spike! The Fantasy Football Journal – Issue 3

Guest edited by Glug Glottington, this is the third issue of Spike! Journal. Covering Nurgle teams, with a veritable host of brand-new content for Blood Bowl, this is sure to be a must-have for Chaos coaches… Contained in the 36-page journal:

– Papa Nurgle’s Favoured Players: details and background on those teams dedicated to Nurgle, the most bizarrely cheerful of the Chaos gods. You’ll learn how they play, how they look and how they gleefully spread their rot and filth all over the pitch, with a focus on The Diseased Destroyers, Bile-City Blightkings, The Subterranean Slimeballs, and The Plaguebearers;

– Chat With the Rat: ace Skaven reporter Hackspit ‘the Scribbler’ Quillchewer talks with Bilerot Vomitflesh about being a follower of Nurgle, and asks: just where is the Garden of Nurgle?;

– Star Player Spotlight: – a detailed profile of Bilerot Vomitflesh, who can play for Nurgle and Chaos Chosen teams. Includes his in-game cost, stats and skills, and career ‘highlights’;

– Dirt From the Dugout: Spike! Journal interviews gossip columnist Mindy Piewhistle about the rivalry between the Dark Gods, and learns maybe a little more than they’d like about some insidious locker room shenanigans;

– Nurgle Playbook: an Introduction to coaching Nurgle teams, including an overview of the strengths of their team, advice on tactics, set-ups, and examples of the skills you can give to different positions.

– Star Player Spotlight: a grisly profile of Bulla Shardhorn, a pox-ridden beast who can play for Chaos Renegade, and Nurgle teams. Includes his in-game cost, stats and skills, and career highlights;

– Star Player Spotlight: a profile of Tolly Glocklinger, a former circus strongman (which is excellent) who can play for Nurgle teams. Includes his in-game cost, stats and skills, and career highlights;

– The Glittering Prizes: an overview of the recent history of Blood Bowl taking a closer look at many of the minor leagues and tournaments that have sprung up after the collapse of the NAF, becoming regular fixtures;

– Sideline Assistance: a trio of rotten new inducements for Nurgle, Chaos Chosen, and Chaos Renegade Blood Bowl teams. Plague Doctors, Cavorting Nurglings and Horticulturalists of Nurgle are available – none of them do anything especially pleasant…;

– Mighty Blow!: tales of sporting glory from the career of all-time Star Player Bob Bifford, presented as an all-new comic strip drawn by the legendary Blood Bowl illustrator Pete Knifton, and written by official Spike! Journal sports-scribe Nick Kyme.
