Hardcore Miniatures Space Dwarves: Unboxing & Build

Hardcore miniatures siteIt’s always cool to see smaller companies growing and branching out. Especially with the way certain companies are pricing their minis lately. Hardcore Miniatures has really stepped up their game and greatly expanded their line. When they put things on pre-order, they always put them on sale. So the Dwarves are no longer on pre-order, but the female fighters are!

Hardcore miniatures DwarvesThese aren’t the cheapest out there, but they are so full of flavor and we would love to see a whole army of them. These can be assembled in so many ways, so with all the bits, you could make your very own unique minis.

Hardcore miniatures Dwarves 2These are all just so cool and would really make your army stand out on the tabletop! Just keep in mind it might take a couple of weeks to get to you with all the COVID craziness. Still, not terrible.

The Bits

Space Dwarves bitsUnfortunately, Rob dropped the box, so the bits got all mixed up, but they do have numbers on the feet to tell you where it goes. It comes as a multi-part resin kit with over 50 parts. From above it doesn’t look like too much, but when you get close, there’s a lot and everything is just so crisp.

The resin is super high-quality and seems to be pre-washed and ready for primer. You can see the detail in every piece and everything is very well made.

Just be careful because some of the beards look like they could block the guns, so just be careful with what pieces you use where.

Built Space Dwarves

Space Dwarves built

Space Dwarves built 2Everything has a slot that it fits into but there was some variance, so if you’re having issues you can just trim those down and glue flat. The good thing is, there are barely any spaces to fill or lines to trim. Overall the minis are super detailed and look great when put together. Also, since there are so many parts, you can basically make any style you want.

Space Dwarves built 3If you want an army of squats, it’s hard to go wrong with these! They have a ton of different poses, bits, and are just super dynamic!

Space Dwarves built 4The strap to put over the shoulder was a little tough, but it looks cool enough to put in the extra work!

Space Dwarves built 5The Sergeant is really cool and it comes with an insane number of bits. So you could assemble it basically any way you want.

Size Comparison

Size comparisonThey are appropriately sized when put up next to a Primaris. If you’re using these as Guard, just be respectful when it comes to line of sight. Just let them know they should be a hair higher.
