Well it looks like it has finally happened for us!
We have created a new podcast mostly focused on 40k, but as you will see in the first few episodes we take a severe deep dive into nerdom
We know everyone’s time is precious so if you only have time to listen to one pod cast a week then please listen to the 11th Company. They do an awesome job. If you have time for a second pod cast a week then please download ours!
We are going to keep them to about an hour each. This ideally gives you something neat to listen to on your way to work or on the way back home. Maybe you can listen while you are painting or modeling!
We mostly focus on 40k, but again you will see in thefirst few episodes we take a severe deep dive into nerdom. These have been a blast to record and I hope they help pass the time for you.
Each episode will follow a similar format. Paul Murphy (TPM), me, is the host and I am joined by Mike Haspil as the co-host. At any point in time the co-host can be deemed too smart for their own good and then be shuffled onto the Black Ship and sacrificed to the god-emperor of mankind.
In addition to the hosts there will be a small panel of hobby or game play experts who lend their insight on whatever the topics are for the week.
Right now our main panel consists of Spikey Bits’ very own MBG, as well as prolific painter Kenny Boucher of Next Level Painting.
We have the first few episodes recorded and ready to be released, but we aren’t going to do that just yet.
We are going to release one a week and continue to produce them so we have a stream of content for you folks. Along the way we may have some bonus episodes that we release midweek but that is still up in the air.
We promise to have a weekly episode for you in addition to the other content sources from BOLS and Spikey Bits.
Right now we also have plans to stream live during major tournaments and the first tournament we have this planned for is Adepticon2013!
While I am very blessed to have a couple of awesome sponsors these podcasts are going to be by gamers, for gamers and we are going to have a great time.
There are certainly a lot of podcasts out there and we appreciate you checking out our very fist podcast.
3/28 Update: We hit our bandwidth limit for the podcast, and are looking for alternate hosting solutions. We apologize for the inconvience, and would like to thank everyone for their interest. You may be able to still listen to it on the PodOmatic site or on iTunes.
