Imperial Agents Ordo Xenos 40k Battleforce Pricing & Value
This will be released alongside two other Battleforces for the Imperial Agents, and we hope it will be about the same cheaper price as some of the more recent bundle boxes. Let’s also hope GW also increases stock, as all the 2024 Battleforces have sold out in minutes (literally), and store allocations have been pretty wild.

Ordo Xenos Battleforce Description
This box shows off a new way to build an Imperial Agents army, with a host of Deathwatch helping Kyria Draxus cleanse the galaxy of Xenos! While this doesn’t have the most miniatures, they are all quite elite and will be a fun force to build and paint up.

Kyria Draxus
Kyria Draxus is the bold Lord Inquisitor of the Ordo Xenos, specializing in taking down the Necron threat with unflinching resolve. Her pragmatism skirts the edge of immorality, earning her a radical rep among her peers, though no one can accuse her of acting impulsively. Every move she makes is calculated with precision. When she springs into action, she’s as unstoppable as shifting tectonic plates.
Deathwatch Veterans Squad
The Deathwatch is an elite group made up of handpicked heroes from various Space Marine Chapters, each pledging their finest warriors to fight the xenos menace. These guys are already top-tier experts before even starting their Deathwatch training. Clad in the blackest armor, with their Chapter icon proudly displayed on their shoulder as a nod to their origins, these Deathwatch Space Marines and their specialized Kill Teams dive headfirst into the most dangerous situations, ready to crush whatever nasty threat comes their way.
Corvus Blackstar
The Corvus Blackstar, a next-level Imperial craft, is the perfect ride for a Deathwatch Kill Team heading into the thick of battle. Built for alien hunting and impressively nimble, it rains death from above with its heavy weapons as it swoops towards critical targets. Halo-launchers distort its outline, and when the twin hatches burst open, out pour the specialist Deathwatch troops, ready to dive straight into the chaos.
Inquisitorial Agents
Inquisitors, with their almost boundless authority in the Imperium, send out squads of authorized agents across the galaxy to execute their will. These covert teams, guided by trusted Interrogator apprentices, are a motley crew: custom-built servitors, soldiers borrowed from all military branches, perilous psykers, convicted killers whose talents are too handy to ignore, and religious fanatics whose intense faith keeps them sane through experiences that would send anyone else over the edge.
Rogue Trader & Retinue
Rogue Traders are the ultimate merchants of death and explorers of the unknown, wielding unmatched authority thanks to their heirloom Warrants of Trade. Leading tough crews of mercenaries and retainers, these daring privateers dive into perilous warzones and uncharted territories, all in the pursuit of profit. Elucia Vhane is a standout among these legends. As the heir of a noble mercantile dynasty, she’s on a mission to outshine her family’s storied legacy—or go down trying.
Espern Locarno (the Navigator), a sanctioned mutant, has the unique job of reclaiming cargo that rightfully belongs to his house by ancient decree. He’s also on a mission to uncover tech that can enhance the mysterious and poorly understood art of warp travel.
Ordo Xenos 40k Battleforce Review
So, you’re thinking about grabbing the Ordo Xenos Battleforce?
While there aren’t any new units inside, this is a very cool mix of units and the only way to play Deathwatch moving forward. It basically gets you the Inquisitorial Agents squads for free (pretty much), so if you want the models inside, you might as well pick this up and save some cash.
The new detachment should let you bring down some Xenos across the galaxy!

Is This Worth It?
Do you want to start an Imperial Agents army and don’t have anything? If you answered yes, then this is totally worth a pickup! It comes with plenty of agents and even a compliment of Deathwatch to help your campaign. However, a lot of the value comes in the way of the Corvus Blackstar, so if you already have one or aren’t interested, we would pass.
Plus, this will give access to the Blackstone Fortress Navigator, which we don’t know if will be released independently.
What to Buy Next?
Well, considering we haven’t seen really any rules from the codex, it’s hard to say. We would probably pick up some more Deathwatch to bolster the force, but other than that, it’s hard to even know what units you will be able to take beyond this and Deathwatch for now.
There is also something to be said about just buying the minis you think are cool and building an army around them! Don’t forget to grab the new rules for this faction and brush up on how to play them.
While it may not have the highest value, The Ordo Xenos Battleforce still offers a great way for new players to start building their armies and explore the faction.
