Imperial Ramen! Adepticon Army Showcase

ramen 4

Even in death, they serve… soup. With one of the coolest themes we’ve ever seen from an army, these Blood Angels “souped up” their force!

Spotted at Adepticon 2019, an army was flexing the Imperium’s brand of ramen. Make no mistake, this list can pack a punch just as much as their soup is packed with flavor.

Imperial Ramen! Adepticon Army Showcase

As we’ve said before, this is definitely one of the most creative themes of an army we’ve ever seen. Looking at the actual army composition, there aren’t that many models. It looks like spatterings of Guard, Deathwatch and Blood Angels all combining to make some serious soup!

What better way to advertise the Imperium of Man’s best soup than on the front of a Shadowsword? Just before you get wiped off the face of the planet, you’ll know how good Imperial Ramen is for your tastebuds.

The army display, while unlike any of the others we’ve ever seen, did a really good job at making it feel like we are in a ramen/sushi bar.

While the display may be outlandishly creative, the paint job on the models is extraordinary. Conversions on the Blood Angel Slam Captain really make him look like he’s been around the block a few times and knows that there’s more to combat besides having luxurious blonde hair. Check out the detailed banner on the Contemptor too! The hobbyist really went above and beyond tying the display board to these models.

What do you think about this army? Do you like the character-heavy “soup list”? What’s the most creative display board you’ve ever seen? Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.

We move fast taking pictures when we’re guests at tournaments helping to cover the event for them. If this is your army and you would like the full-size images or credit added to the article, just email us: support AT spikeybits.com
