Last Chance to Buy These Forge World Tanks That Are Getting the Axe

last-chance-to-buy-cames-workshop-warhammer-40kIf you want any of these kits, get them soon, because GW is giving more Imperial Guard tanks the axe in this last chance to buy.

GW has been slowly (well, not that slowly) getting rid of a ton of the Forge World line. We’ve talked a lot about how they have been rebranding and removing models from Forge World, which you can read about here.

For now, though, the only thing that matters is if you want any of these models, order them now before they are gone for good!

Last time, GW prefaced the list a little, but this time, there wasn’t much notice, which is unfortunate!

Last Chance to Buy: Forge World Imperial Guard Tanks Getting the Axe

Imperial Guard Tanks Getting the AxeWell, GW just sent out the emails today, and a bunch of the tanks are already sold out, so if you see any you like, you better hop on it soon, as we don’t expect them to stay in the store for very long.

Now let’s look at some you can actually score.

Armageddon Pattern Medusa: $121

Imperial Guard Tanks Getting the Axe 2

This multipart resin and plastic kit includes all the components you need to build one Armageddon-pattern Medusa – an armoured battle tank with a powerful Medusa siege gun. The Armageddon-pattern Medusa also sports a hull-mounted heavy bolter or heavy flamer, and can optionally be upgraded with a hunter-killer missile as well as a pintle-mounted storm bolter or heavy stubber. The tank’s rear door can be opened to reveal the detailed interior and loading mechanisms.

Death Korps of Krieg Mars Alpha Pattern Leman Russ Demolisher: $121

Imperial Guard Tanks Getting the Axe 3

This multipart plastic and resin kit includes all the components you need to build one Mars-Alpha-pattern Leman Russ Demolisher – an armoured vehicle operated by the Death Korps of Krieg. The tank sports a powerful demolisher cannon, as well as a hull-mounted secondary weapon – a lascannon or heavy bolter. It can also be equipped with a pintle-mounted heavy stubber and two optional sponson-mounted guns – a pair of heavy bolters, heavy flamers, multi-meltas, or plasma cannons.

This variant of the Leman Russ features many details and modifications suited to the Death Korps of Krieg, including a gas-masked tank commander or gunner, rear trench rails, air filters, and cloth coverings for the heavy bolter and lascannon.

Artemia Pattern Hellhound: $103

Imperial Guard Tanks Getting the Axe 4

This multipart plastic and resin kit includes all the components you need to build one Artemia-pattern Hellhound – a swift and deadly vehicle, armed with a powerful inferno cannon and a hull-mounted heavy bolter.

Note that plastic elements of this kit have been visually updated since photography was taken – as a result, you will receive plastic components from the current Chimera kit instead of those pictured, which are from the pre-2009 Chimera kit.

Armageddon Pattern Basilisk: $121

Imperial Guard Tanks Getting the Axe 5

This multipart resin and plastic kit includes all the components you need to build one Armageddon-pattern Basilisk – an armoured artillery tank with a long-barrelled earthshaker cannon. The Armageddon-pattern Basilisk also sports a hull-mounted heavy bolter or heavy flamer, and can optionally be upgraded with a hunter-killer missile as well as a pintle-mounted storm bolter or heavy stubber. The tank’s rear door can be opened to reveal the detailed interior and loading mechanisms.
