For the second time in a few months, there is great news for GW allocations and the new World Eaters Combat Patrol.
Just a couple of weeks ago, the Lion was allocated into the dirt, and it immediately went for insane prices on the secondary market. While this week’s releases aren’t nearly as anticipated, it’s a step in the right direction, and we love to see stores be able to actually get as much product as they need.
As we said, up until last week (and the Seraphon box), GW had allocated at least one release every week. Let’s hope this is them getting everything back on track for distribution, and we won’t see crazy allocations going into 10th Edition. Let’s check out the caps for this week’s releases.
Great News For World Eaters Combat Patrol & GW Allocations
- Combat Patrol: World Eaters: No Caps
- Warhammer Underworlds: Wyrdhollow: No Caps
- New GW Paint Sets: No Caps (but delayed in Japan)
Considering how long people have waited for the World Eaters box, it’s great to see it not allocated! We’re not sure how many people will still pick them up so long after the codex drop, but the box has a lot of value and a good mix of units inside.
Then, if you play Underworlds, it’s also nice to be able to actually get the new box without having to go on the secondary market. With this in mind, it’s puzzling why it was the exact opposite for the new Lion Primarch model.
Either way, let’s hope GW keeps this up for the rest of the year and stores can get what they need!
