Legio Models Knight Upgrade Kits: Unboxing
They just have so many different kits on the site. Anything from big to small, from Chaos to Loyalist, and even some Xenos kits! They are shipping from Russia so it has been a little slow with all the COVID stuff, but not too bad. The site is also pretty easy to navigate, so go check it out!
Loyalist Kits
All the kits this size are $75, but these are all boutique hand-made resin kits, so the price isn’t bad considering. Again, it’s a hobby so if you want an amazing mini, sometimes it’s more.
They just have so many different kits to choose from, basically something for everyone. If you want to see some more highlights of what they have going on, check it out here.
The Kit
This kit is just really well done and has so much detail. They really just fit the detail into every little inch. The resin is also very high quality and looks easy to build with. It’s also fun to get so many purity seals to place everywhere over the model.
Completed Dark Monk Kit
These look great when put onto a knight! Remember these are upgrade kits so they just add on to make your knight that much cooler. It all fits on very well and there were no hold-ups when building it. Just overall a great kit!
Custodes Style Completed Mini
Rob couldn’t find a put-together one of these so he wasn’t sure exactly where the carapace was supposed to go. Other than that, it was easy to put together and they even give you the guns to go on top. Overall a great looking piece that harkens back to the artwork for the Custodes.
The Baby Custodes Model
Again, another kit that looks great and went together easily! They also send you feet with it, but Rob had already glued the original feet on so he didn’t put those on. The only issue with this was you may need to do a tiny bit of clipping for the top weapons.
That does it for this one! Overall some really great kits and if you want to get around shipping costs from Russia could be worth going in with a buddy on a couple of sets and split shipping. Rob’s only suggestion would be to add some more instructions for the bigger kits.
If anyone has a completed model of the Custodes style armor we would love to see it!
