New Liber Daemonica Space Marines alternative bits for Dreadnought Armor, Primaris bodies, and banners will upgrade your army in no time!
The hobby maniacs over at Liber Daemonica have been an excellent painting studio for some time now. Recently, they’ve also gone the retail route and added a bits store to their lineup.
Today Rob is looking at the site and a bunch of the alternative bits Liber Daemonica has to upgrade your Space Marines army and show your chapter’s pride!
We will show you everything the kits come with, how long they take to build, and some size comparisons. That way, you can decide if these are worth your hard-earned hobby dollars.
Liber Daemonica Alternative Space Marines Bits: Unboxing & Build
Their new site is really well laid out and smooth. They have all kinds of bits on there and multiple sections for so many different factions!
If you want your miniatures to look a certain way just by using a few of the kits, these are perfect for making your Dreadnoughts stand out in a big way!
The Bits
You can get Alternative Primaris bodies, legs, and way more! While they are about the same price as a plastic sprue, they are really great for upgrading single units.
Sure, you can make whole models out of them; but we think most people will just use them as upgrades.
Here, you can see just how detailed they are, and for the price, they are a really cool way to make your Space Marines stand out among all the other armies out there.
You can also pick up these awesome banners to really show how strong your legions are!
Unfortunately, Rob didn’t have the right kind of dread available to put all these bits on… But worry not, some will fit on other kits, and we have their painted version of everything to show you!
Plus, the kits are all made for specific chapters, so super easy to cruise through the site and just get what you need.
Painted Bits
Since they started as a commission painting company, they have some amazingly painted examples of their bits. This can give you a ton of inspiration for how you want to paint yours. Perhaps best of all, this is how they will look when assembled to upgrade a plastic Games Workshop kit.
Assembled Minis
Considering he didn’t have the Invictor, the bits still fit pretty well on the Redemptor! However, the painted version on the Liber Daemonica site looks way better!
These banners are just so amazing when put together! The detailed work on these is stunning, and it goes together in seconds (especially the banner because all you have to glue on is a hand, but hey never question an easy hobby win.)
It’s also nice that you can use the bolters, bodies, and legs with the existing plastic primaris kits, so you can just basically mix or match anything you want.
