Top Unbeatable 40k Tournament Army Lists: 2024 London GT
The tournament is over, and now we can look at which lists managed to secure a place at the top! Check out what these winners brought in their armies with our commentary on their selections. 3rd Place: Alex Fowler – Thousand Sons
2nd Place: Brain Sepp – Orks
1st Place: Liam Vsl – Chaos Space Marines
Liam’s list was led by a Chaos Lord for a great once-per-battle combat buff, Cypher for a great Lone operative, Fabius Bile for a decent durability boost to his unit, Huron Blackheart for great three-unit-redeploy ability, and Lucius the Eternal for a great melee threat with an ability to keep coming back. A single Cultist Mob comes in as a cheap wound soaker.
Two units of Legionaries come in as more standard troop options with decent shots and durability, while two units of Noise Marines are similar but with better special weapons.
Two Rhinos helped by adding transports to assist in the early turns and put out a few extra shots while at it. Two Destructors then brought in some great ranged firepower and a fair cost to help take out enemy armor.
Two units of Chosen bring in large elite squads with great stat lines and fantastic weapons, primarily for melee combat. Two Obliterators wrap up the list with some more ranged bodies to help shoot down range and take out enemy threats in a timely matter.
