This multipart plastic kit contains a whopping 295 components. The kit includes the parts to assemble the kit as a Banehammer, Banesword, Doomhammer, Hellhammer, Shadowsword, Stormlord or Stormsword super-heavy tank instead of a Baneblade. Also included is 1 Astra Militarum Vehicle Transfer Sheet, which can be used to add markings and insignia.

Before we get started on the Baneblade, we need to get a conversion set from our friends over at The Magnet Baron.  This is by far the easiest way to get the most out of our Baneblade kit! For $20 you get everything you need to convert your tank into all 8 variants!

So if you have never put together one of these massive kits don’t worry! Rob goes over some of the things you should look out for when assembling the Baneblade kit in our unboxing and build video below.

Once you get your basic tank hull together, if you are looking to make all 8 variants then you are going to want to glue your magnets under these top hatches, so you can attach your turret plates and panels on the top side.

Rob shows us below how you can use a few pieces of discarded sprue to align the rest of the top plates to turn your Baneblade into a 40k transformer.
