More Beast Than Machine: Conversion Corner

If you have ever encountered something from the Chaos army of Nurgle, you know firsthand how bad things can get!

Here are the latest conversions from the community, brought to us by Alex Shaughnessy on the Spikey Bits Hobbies Facebook Group.

Something stinks!

Across all theatres of war, every General will preach that their armies are only as good as their intelligence. This message is not lost even among the seemingly chaotic tides of Eegreb’s Legions.
The truth of the matter is that Eegreb’s rapid ascension through the Nurgle Lords’ ranks is down to his tactical advisors and commanding officers, who not only identified this fact but created specialized units to act as psychic information beacons for their legions.

One of those unique factors of the Toddler’s Forces is the extremely psychically potent “Worm Wagons.” The worm wagons are formed by the torture and forced merging of a captured machine spirit with a rare species of demon mega worm native to Eegreb’s domains.
These worms project a strong psychic presence that can carry messages to friendly units infected with Eegreb’s Pox and scramble enemy vox communications and logical thoughts of local enemy forces.
It is not unusual to find entire companies defending the positions of these Worm Wagons, as they are seen as focal mobile command points among Eegreb’s armies. If the enemy lives long enough to collect intelligence on the Worm Wagon’s purpose and location, they are quickly moved to a newer fortified location.
If the captured vehicle is large enough and the machine spirit base powerful enough to bond with the more mature worms, then the Worm Wagons take on an even more sinister capability to project strong psychic attacks that can reduce the minds of local enemy forces to a bloody mush.

“Yeah, I see what it is!”
