More Khorne & Slaanesh confirmations are here as new pictures were spotted of the upcoming sprues for the Wrath and Rapture box set for Warhammer today.

Good news may be on the way for Chaos Daemon players out there if the latest December releases rumors for the Wrath and Rapture box are solid.  Don’t miss the latest!

Slaanesh and Khorne are getting more support in the Wrath and Rapture box with new characters and updated models.

This isn’t the first time we’ve heard on this though, check out these earlier previews before we dive into the sprues that were just spotted from the box set

Karanak & Herald of Slaanesh Spotted at Vigilus Open

Daemons have been the talk of the town after the first Wrath and Rapture previews the Vigilus Open shed even more light on what’s to come.

Along with the models that we’ve already seen previewed, two new models emerged and one is confirmed from a rumor!

A Khorne Flesh Hound with three heads looks almost like an ode to Cerberus… KARANAK IS BACK.

There’s that model of the Daemonette playing the harp on a guy’s skin. FINALLY. This unit has been revolving around so many rumors lately and she’s finally been spotted.  GW called her “The new herald of Slaanesh”. We aren’t sure if she’ll have a name or if that’s just the updated model of an old unit.

Now it looks like the very video above held the secrets to the contents of the box set!  Right around the end of the video with a little luck, you can pause the box set flip to reveal this gem:

Wrath & Rapture box set contents units

So from this, it seems like the box will contain the following units, both new and old, including fluff books and what may be tokens or markers of some sort?

Looks like a great lineup for any aspiring Daemon player out there, or anyone trying to score some of the amazing new hounds, fiends or characters! The biggest question now is, how much will it cost?

DEC Release Rumors & Slaanesh Sprue Pics Spotted

First off, hobby hero Garro recently cited December as the “go live” time for the new Daemon Box on his Facebook page. Full disclosure though, the pic he is referencing is the one above we published five days previous.

due out in december.

These images were spotted of the new Infernal Enchantress herald model and part of the Flesh Hounds sprues was spotted on Faeit’s site by the old “anonymous source” that may have remarked is starting to become the hobby equivalent of “a Flordia man”.

Here you can see the Infernal Enchantress looks to be a full-on multi-part kit, not unlike the Yvraine sprue, just a little smaller:

The Flesh Hounds seem to have held on a little to their hobby roots with the left/right clampack design with the fleshy head still its own separate piece.

Their collars also appear to be attached to each side as well.

More images were spotted recently as part of, and next to the above pics.

The full Hound sprue looks like this:

And it appears some of their heads, and fleshy fins comes on a smaller character sized sprue as well:

From the looks of it though, Karanak sprues are nowhere to be found!

Either way, December may be heating up release wise with at least two 40k supplements, as well as the Noice Marine confirmed in the next 30 days.  Do you think we’ll see Wrath & Rapture as well?   Let us know in the comments of our Facebook Hobby Group.
