3rd Place: Mathieu Cleric – Leagues of Votann
2nd Place: Tim Schneider – Leagues of Votann
1st Place: Matthias Bellmann – Thousand Sons
Matthias’ winning list was led by Ahriman for a free ritual and +1 to wound rolls, while three Infernal Masters for Sustained Hits and roll manipulation. Magnus the Red adds a massive model with great combat prowess along with buffing nearby psykers. The last is a simple Sorcerer which prevents its unit from getting targeted by long range weapons.
Troops keep it basic with five units of Rubric Marines to pair up with HQs and bring their fantastic Soulreaper cannons to the firing lines.
A unit of Cultists adds some wound soakers, while two Forgefiends bring in larger ranged threats to target enemy armor.
The list then ends with three units of Tzaangor Enlightened for some cheap mobile ranged units.
The Münsterland Major showcased some impressive displays of strategic prowess and tactical Warhammer 40k acumen with these army lists. Leagues of Votann and Thousand Sons claimed the top spots, showcasing a potential shift in what players should consider.
