With Eldar’s constant presence, we decided to avoid their lists this week.
6th Place: Charles Gould – Leagues of Votann
4th Place: Matt Goligher – Ultramarines
3rd Place: Christopher Langton – Necrons
Chris’s Necrons were the highest non-Eldar faction at the event, being led by a Transcendent Nightbringer, and Void Dragon Shard for their great stat lines and unique abilities. They were followed by a Lord for a cheap leader who gives +1 movement, and Orikan for his fantastic 4+ Invuln to a unit.
Battleline has a unit of Immortals and Warriors for some bodies that could pair up with one of the HQs.
The rest of the list starts off with a reanimator for its solid support abilities, followed by two Scarab Swarms to harass enemy ranged models or simply soak wounds. Crytothralls add two cheap melee bodies, and Lokhust Heavy Destroyers bring in some tremendous dedicated ranged firepower. Lastly, there are two Tomb Blades for some mobility to round out the list to a crisp 2k!
