Wizards actually revealed three new Warhammer 40k Magic Commander Cards, but to very mixed reviews as the power levels vary greatly.
We’ve been hearing about the release for a long time now (first previewed back in 2021), but it’s been delayed a couple of times already. So, if you’ve been waiting patiently, it’s nice to see something new.
The cards are finally getting released soon, on October 7th, but you can check out how to order them here. for now, let’s check out the new cards from Wizards!

This was the most recent reveal, we had already seen Abaddon, but none of the other character cards before now.
We’ve already seen his card, and it gave the other cards a lot to live up to! So, people were excited to see the other cards. However, since then the reception has been a little mixed.
This card has probably grabbed the most flak, as his effect is pretty lackluster. Most people are saying it doesn’t make sense to not put that card into play. Basically, it’s super restrictive and just not that good.
Really, it feels like some of the new rares coming out are actually stronger than these, but hey, if you love 40k, still might be worth the pickup.
This is one of the cooler cards, with a token-style deck possible with it. Overall, it’s nice to see more cards and what they can do. Plus, it’s hard to judge just one card for each deck, so don’t be too upset yet.
