You basically get the Invictor Warsuit for free, so if you want everything in the box, it’s a great buy. However, a lot of the value is wrapped up in the upgrade sprues, so if you don’t care too much about kitting out your marines to look more Space Wolfy, then this is a pass.

Either way, this is a decent way to kick off your Space Wolf army, and other than the secondary market, the only place you can score this Space Wolve Lieutenant.

Intercessors

A reliable and versatile crew of warriors who can fire while moving or securing terrain is a tactician’s best friend. For strike forces reinforced with Primaris battle-brothers, the Intercessor Squads take on this role.

These squads are masters of unleashing overlapping waves of firepower and often become the adaptable backbone of newly-founded Primaris Chapters. Naturally, established Chapters haven’t missed out on their potential, deploying them alongside their Tactical Squads with gusto.

Reivers

All Space Marines excel at quick strikes, but Reivers take it up a notch. These guys are specially trained and equipped for brutally effective surprise attacks, hitting hard and fast with shocking violence. As terror troops, their mission is to spread fear and chaos among the enemy ranks.

Primaris Space Wolves Lieutenant

Lieutenants are basically the Captain’s wingmen, offering tactical support and guiding their troops in battle. They’re the go-to folks for leading a demi-company or strike force, managing the nitty-gritty of squad-level combat, and shining as role models. This lets the Captains zero in on the big picture of the whole war zone without sweating the small stuff.

Invictor Warsuit

The Invictor Tactical Warsuit is like the Redemptor Dreadnought’s leaner, meaner cousin. Instead of a hero entombed in a sarcophagus, it’s piloted by a live Primaris Space Marine. These combat walkers do it all—from armored escorts to busting through sieges and hunting urban monsters.

But their most legendary gig? Backing up Vanguard Space Marines with a mix of mid- to close-range firepower, tough armor, and the pilot’s fearless attitude, making them the ultimate support unit.

Space Wolves Upgrade Sprue

Hailing from the icy world of Fenris, the Space Wolves cruise the Sea of Stars as noble savages. They ditch the Codex Astartes, sticking to the traditions of their Primarch, Leman Russ. Prioritizing honor, courage, and battle skills above all else, the Space Wolf armies are packed with lone heroes, skyborne longships, and epic tales of bravery.

New Space Wolves Combat Patrol Rules

As you’d expect from a Combat Patrol built for close combat mayhem, the Thoryk’s Void Hunters comes loaded with rules to help you blitz across the battlefield. The Space Wolves may be all about close quarters, but they’re still Space Marines at heart, rocking the same Oath of Moment army rule as before.

Tireless Hunter Rule

Once this warrior locks onto their target, they’ll relentlessly hunt them down, fighting with icy determination to finish the job.

At the start of the first battle round, pick one enemy unit. Every time the bearer attacks that unit, they get +1 to their Wound rolls, making each strike even deadlier!

Stratagem 

The Space Wolves fight fiercely to the very end, seeing a blood-soaked death in battle as an honorable way to go. Until the end of the phase, when a model in your unit is destroyed and hasn’t fought yet, roll a D6. On a 4+, that model sticks around long enough to fight back before being removed from play. They’re going down swinging!

What to Buy Next?

Listen, you’re playing Space Wolves, so while this box is cool, it doesn’t have many Space Wolf-specific units. So, we would pick up some Grey Hunters, Wulfen, Space Wolf Terminators, and Thunderwolf Calvary! Their line is one of the coolest out there for Space Marines, so go get all the cool units, paint them up, and throw them down on the tabletop.
