Ahriman The Exile hor wal

Come see the new chatter on the arrival of Ahriman and more on the whereabouts of the new Burning of Prospero box set.

There is a big rumor going around this morning about Ahirman arriving on Oct 22nd. Low hanging rumor fruit or insidious lies? Let’s break it down to see how probable it will be?

Let’s go CSI Robbie B and take a look at the evidence:

First off the Rumor via Faeit

Ahriman will be there on the 22nd of October (not sure if in pre-order or in store).

Now let’s take a look at the facts:

battle for prospero white dwarf

  • I think by now the majority of the hobby knows the Burning of Prospero box set will be coming before or as the White Dwarf hits in the first week of November.
  • Horus Heresy Betrayal at Calth released on November 14 2015, and went on pre-order a week before on Nov 7th.
  • GW also has been dropping BIG new releases around the first of month for both September (New Chaos) and October (New Genestealer Cult) to coincide with the release of the White Dwarf magazine.

So while it is probable that the box will be released before the new NOV White Dwarf hits around the first, probably going on sale for pre-orders on either Oct 22nd OR Oct 31st for delivery the week after, there is nothing yet to suggest that Ahirman / the Sorcerer we all saw already will even be in the box.

Will there be a new 2 figure character sprue for this kit, or will GW get ambitious and release something akin to a super character box that has 4-6 models in it to be released alongside Prospero (like Silver Tower). Because that sorcerer sprue was one model, unlike the previous captain / chaplain sprue in Calth. So there is that little detail to add to the mix too!

Ahriman

I think we can all agree that this early in the game, anything is possible – just add salt to taste!

Checkout the spectacular new box set that will be headed our way this holiday, and clues to what will be inside as well!
