The new Contender Dreadnought from Pop Goes the Monkey is an awesome alternative mini to add to your collection!
Pop Goes the Monkey is always coming out with some of the coolest minis and bits on the market! They have also recently upgraded to Monkey Resin for their kits so you can get high-quality resin minis for less! Nothing wrong with saving some cash!
This time around they are adding a really cool Dreadnought. If the base kit isn’t cool enough, they are also coming out with a bunch of new weapon kits in the near future! Enough of this talking, let’s jump into the bits!
Contender Dreadnought: $35.99
This kit comes with two power fists and could work for so many different alternatives. You can guess by the name though which it was intended for. When this machine comes running at you, it’s better to run away. But let’s be honest, it’s probably faster than you! It has giant metal legs after all, and you’re probably not Usain Bolt, but it’s better than fighting it head-on!

The Contender Dreadnought is inspired by an ancient Imperial cybernetic combat walker used by the Legions in the days of the Great Crusade. This multi-part kit allows you to articulate your dreadnought into just about any pose you’d like. You get two power fist weapons in this kit but, other weapons options will soon be available. (Please note, the base is NOT included)
