Clad in bone-white Tactical Dreadnought armour and limbering up in the teleportarium, the Deathwing are the star of this week’s Sunday Preview, and they’re arriving just in time for a crusade in the Pariah Nexus. Then there are Legions Imperialis transfers, Black Library books, and new mystery pin sets.

Belial, Grand Master of the Deathwing, commands 15 Terminators. Ten of these are existing mulit-part Terminators, accessorised in classic Deathwing style with two new Dark Angels upgrade frames, while the other five are the indomitable Deathwing Knights, unstoppable juggernauts armed with mighty heirloom weapons.

The box also contains Codex Supplement: Dark Angels, a 96-page book containing the rules and background for the Dark Angels, and featuring a unique cover. You also get 20 datasheet cards covering every unit in the Codex Supplement and two transfer sheets with over 200 transfers each. * This product is delayed in Japan

Another launch army box set is here, this time dubbed Deathwing Assault. That name gives off major Space Hulk vibes as the moniker of their favored method of attacking their enemies. The Deathwing Assault should have good value as the exclusive codex and accessories usually end up being “free” over the retail price of the Army launch box.  Check out our pricing and value article on whether this will be worth your hobby dollars.

Explore the Nephilim Anomaly while the Necrons attempt to hide it away from the prying eyes of the Imperium in Crusade: Pariah Nexus. This is the second Crusade narrative expansion for the current edition of Warhammer 40,000. Its 120 pages are filled with scene-setting background lore and thematic rules for use in your Crusade games, including Crusade Relics, Battle Traits, Crusade Blessings, and Agendas, plus rules for salvaging Blackstone Fragments and creating unique Blackstone Upgrades. You will also be able to pre-order a Collector’s Edition version limited to just 600 copies, with gold foil text, printed page edges, and a black ribbon page marker. ** The collector’s edition is delayed in Japan.

Up next for Warhammer 40k is the Pariah Nexus crusade supplement in regular and collector editions. If you enjoy playing narrative games focused on Ad Mech and Necrons, this book may be for you!
