If you like formations, the Eldar just got a ton of new ones- just like the Tau back in Mont’ka and Kauyon! Come see how good this new warhost really is!
The new Doom of Mymeara Second Edition came out recently to little fanfare, however it contains what may be some of the most game changing Eldar rules from 2015.
Inside the new Doom of Mymeara is not one but TWO Eldar rules sets that have breathed new life into the faction that has seemed to divide the 40k community since Codex: Craftworlds burst on to the scene last year.
Today’s feature is on their new Formations and the Mymeara Warhost itself!
The new Mymeara book introduces a warhost that is 100% “backwards” compatible with the Codex Craftwolds book one. The only difference is that this new one introduces additional “Support” choices for talking some of the larger more powerful units that received a 7th Edition update in this book.
The new support formations are:
- Hammer of Vaul
- Skyhunters Squadron
- Skyreaver Raiding Echelon
- And the epic Wraith Titans formation!
These new detachments function exactly like traditional ones, and are available to be taken in a Battleforged Army separately OR as components inside the Mymeara or Cratworld Warhost.
Yo dawg, heard you liked titans, now you can titan your titans!
We’ll cover the Pale Courts Warhost that is it’s own separate command formation, and not able to be fielded outside of its own Mymeara Warhost next time!
Doom of Mymeara Second Edition £50
Three massive Eldar war hosts attack the Imperial world of Betalis III. Their reason cannot be known but they must be stopped. Arrayed against them are the Cadian 6th Armoured Regiment of the Astra Militarum, Bran Redmaw’s Great Company of Space Wolves and Titans of the Legio Gryphonicus.
The Eldar may live to regret their incursion.
This new, fully updated edition of Imperial Armour: The Doom of Mymeara contains detailed background on the war fought on Betalis III and its protagonists. It includes rules for Eldar characters, vehicles, flyers, colossal Eldar Titans and wraith constructs, and the Shadow Spectres Aspect Warriors.
This book also contains a complete, revised and updated army list for the Eldar Corsairs, a unique army of Eldar who have abandoned their Craftworlds to follow the Path of the Outcast, and rules for the Imperial commanders who stand in the way of the Eldar’s advance.
