By Travis Pasch | September 16th, 2021 | Categories: Space Marines, Warhammer 40k, Warhammer 40k Rumors

Joytoy-action-figure-releaseUnfortunately, it looks like all the JOYTOY 40k Action Figures are region locked to Asia for now, but they are releasing this week!

We’ve been seeing a bunch of pictures of the first wave, some WIPs of a new wave, and even some pricing for the figures- but it looks like for now this release is region locked to Asia. Hopefully, this release will open up to all regions in the near future, as judging from the interest level just on this site alone, a lot of hobbyists are ready to buy!

New JOYTOY 40k Action Figures Releasing This Week

– Brother Pullo figure
– Brother Ruban figure
– Brother Sergeant Octavio
– Brother Cyrus
– Multiple accessories and weapons

Joytoy ultramarines 7They are very posable and just look so sweet. As you can see they have a bunch of accessories with each figure.

When compared to the McFarlane figures, they are smaller (supposedly around 4″ tall), but actually about the same price when you consider you get four figures in the set. Plus, the articulation on these is just off the charts.

Joytoy ultramarines 8The release date was late October, but according to Gcores they are being released in mainland China this weekend.

After a short delay, JOYTOY’s first wave of authorized movable finished products, VSM, which is the Pioneer Starfighter Infiltrator and Raider, will finally be launched on the mainland of China this weekend.

In accordance with the order previously scheduled on the major e-commerce platforms, the goods will be shipped to the friends who have purchased them in the next week. No painting is required, please unpack and start playing!

With them coming to Asia, if you really want them, we hope at least some secondary markets will have them. They might just be more expensive.

Worldwide Availability

There could be a few reasons these have not been made available worldwide yet. First, they could just only ever be released in Asia, which would really just suck. More than likely though, there could be a licensing conflict for other parts of the world. They are somewhat similar to the Bandai figures, even though they are smaller and less focused on articulation, so that could potentially be an issue.

If that’s the case, it means it could be a long time before they get out of Asia. Or, it could always be Games Workshop wants them to test run them there and then bring them out to a global market via their site (again similar to the Bandai releases).

Lastly, they GW may just be waiting to reveal them at GenCon…

Have you tried ordering them? Will you get them if they get to other regions?
