First off we have a bit of a holiday recap for you from GW’s previous Holiday product post earlier in the year:

Checkout the latest on what we may see this holiday by Old-Four-Arms:

Confirmed in November WD ;

New scenery : Haemotrope Reactors (40k), Magewrath Throne & Balewind Vortex (AoS)

for the reactors, think Star Wars Echo base (semi-circular) but with Mechanicum gubbinz

Hero bases : 2 sets (40k – 8pcs and AoS – 11pcs)

How extensive are these hero bases? Forge World character series size?
1x 60mm (shattered Leman Russ turret)
5x 40mm (1. iron stairs, 2. rubble with barrel, 3. rubble with aquila head, 4. rubble with crate/jerrycans, 5. iron platform on pipeline)
2x 32mm (1. rubble with Ork rokkit, 2. twisted iron girders)

Given this info it seems likely that the other rumours are true as well.
Aside from the depressing lack of AOS stuff it sounds pretty good.

New terrain is always good. Several Industry Insiders have told Spikey Bits that we will be seeing the old Balewind Vortex and Magewraith Throne again very soon as well.

Finally: Magnus the Red arrives this Christmas  (date to be confirmed).

If true we expect a boom for the holidays. Especially striking theme of the scenery, which was not any kind of rumors to date. To see what they have prepared ..

There has also been a lot of talk over the last few days about a possible Black Friday sale, or a midnight release of some sort from GW this holiday, let’s take a closer look:

We reported the following about a possible Black Friday midnight release recently:

There is a big rumor going around about a secret midnight sale on November 25th at GW stores this year (which incidentally is Black Friday). A lot of folks are assuming that it will be the release of the Burning of Prospero, however will the be the case?

First off the Rumor via Dakka:

My local GW has a 25 nov top secret midnight release. Anyone any idea what it could be ?
Could it be the return of Necromunda ?

But what if GW has another Black Friday Sale as well?

For 2015 there was quite a few special Black Friday “deals” in the form of bundles both online and at local Games Workshop stores. If I was a betting man, I would expect more of the same this year for sure!

Either way we know the holidays are on Games Workshop’s radar from the earlier Q3 post, so I would expect that to just be the tip of the holiday product mix from them.

And of course all of last year’s Black Friday Deals from GW can be found below:
