new-releases-bandai-captainLook out if you are planning on picking up the new Bandai Space Marine Captain Figure today when it hits the US webstore.

Games Workshop let us in on an unexpected new Bandai Primaris Space Marine Captain Action figure release that is going on pre-order today at approximately 1 pm EST, along with the final week of Kill Team ordering as well.

We have taken a look at global pricing so far and this item is on pre-order for 200£ and 670 New Zealand Dollars respectively, so chances are it will go on pre-order in the US for at least 2 to 3x of the previous price of $100 for the Bandai action figures.

UPDATE: The new Space Marine Bandai Captain Model is $240. We cover all the updates to the design of the figure and talk about the value of the previous models in a separate article here.

For example, in the UK the Kill Team box (which is $199 here) is on pre-order for 125£, just to give you a better idea of the conversion rate from GW, which as we have mentioned before is not 1:1 and a source of additional profit for them.

Generally, there is no direct conversion rate, as GW charges more for their products in local currencies (a process known as Arbitrage).

Simply put 125£ should equal $170 here in the states, but GW makes up to an extra $30 more on each Kill Team box they sell depending on the sales channel.

So there is no way to tell for sure until it hits the GW webstore what the price will be for the new Bandai Captain model, but it should be significantly higher than the previous price of $100.

This wonderfully detailed figure represents an Ultramarines Primaris Captain, wielding a mighty bolt storm gauntlet and power sword. He wears the Gravis variant of Mark X armour.

The action figure comes with a detachable backpack and two right hands – one formed into a fist for heroic poses and one gripping hand for holding the power sword.

Standing over 8″ tall and fully articulated, you can pose this model however you want – running, fighting, or stoically surveying the battlefield. Comprised of both painted plastic and diecast metal, this is the highest quality Space Marine figure available.

Made to Order
This Ultramarines action figure is available via Made to Order until 10am on Tuesday 31st August 2021. Order yours today to avoid missing out!

Don’t forget the first Bandai Space Marine Action Figure is currently selling for around $300 on eBay, so this one is sure to be just as popular, and now we suspect even more valuable in 2022 as well.
