paintpal kickstarter

The PaintPal 3D printable Travel Hobby System Kickstarter is a really cool project for all you 3D enthusiasts out there!

The project has a ton of well-designed pieces that you can print out from home to keep your hobby supplies organized and safe! Obviously, this is for STLs, so if you don’t have a 3D printer yet, go get one! Then you could also take advantage of great projects like this.

Anyway, the project has a few days left and has already smashed a ton of Stretch Goals. So basically anything you could want for keeping your brushes, paints, minis, bits, or whatever organized and safe, this project has. Let’s check it out!

Paintpal 4Honestly, this is a really cool project and for the price of printing everything out, these just make for the perfect accessories. It’s hard to keep everything nice and neat, especially on the go, this just makes it that much easier!

Paintpal 5Let’s hear what they have to say about the project:

Ok, so I’m guessing you’re thinking, “why would I need to 3D print something to carry my paints or for a wet palette when my old plastic take-out tray works perfectly fine“. If that works for you, then that’s great. You probably don’t need to 3D print something like this. But on the other hand, a dedicated stackable travel system quickly made at home for the price of a cup of coffee is a huge step up from a take-out box. I’ve used those trays in the past, and they’re fine, but I always wanted something sturdier and more functional.

Paintpal 6The PaintPal Travel Hobby System is a simple 3D print-at-home solution to your on-to-go hobby needs. Comprising a nifty paint tray for up to six 17ml dropper bottles and three paintbrushes, an optional optimized wet palette, and a lid that doubles as a drybrush texture palette, this sweet 3D printable system is perfect for taking your hobby on the road.

  • Drybrush Texture Palette Lid (optional print). Regular lid also included.

As well as the 17ml dropper bottle carrier tray, there’s also a variant main tray for ten 12ml ‘flip-top’ pots.

Stretch Goals:

Paintpal 7They’ve already hit a crazy amount of stretch goals, so you’ll be getting even more products with this awesome project.

That does it for this one, if you want an easy and affordable way to keep your stuff organized, go check them out!
