Alex did a great job of describing what he’s done, so, take it away Alex.

Despite his extremely menacing presence and horrifying to behold physique, Poxley is a giant sweetheart. Originally a plundering demon prince who voluntarily infected himself with the obliterator virus in order to help defend his people from other pirate raids within the warp, it wasn’t long until the demon began to lose his mind to the virus. Becoming extremely violent towards those he cared for in the pursuit of weaponry, Poxley fought an internal battle against the virus in order to maintain control.

nurgleAfter his party accidentally came upon the Nurgle Flagship the “Joyous Intent” led by the forces of Eegreb Goureguts, Poxley’s crew was identified as a threat and swiftly defeated. Brought aboard for execution, the crew of the Joyous Intent instead saw the pain in the beast’s eyes, battling between keeping control and losing himself to the obliterator virus. Offering him the gift of the “Giant’s Rot” that would combat the virus, Poxley took the offer with eager enthusiasm. As is the course with accepting Eegreb’s gift, the giant pustules leaked potent psychic energy and chemicals into the body that made the beast friendly to other carriers of the Giant’s Rot, and generally more docile and jovial like most of Eegreb’s followers.

Now roaming the corridors of the flagship “Joyous Intent” Poxley sees traveling the stars with his friends and protecting them as a beautiful experience rather than a vast Galaxy of treasure and pillaging.

“I remember being smaller!”
