The Primaris Outrider bikes have arrived at the studio (sort of), check out our unboxing and build of the new models!
This week we are unboxing the new wave of Space Marine bikes that just came out! Rob is going to be using the minis from the Indomitus box because he couldn’t get his hands on an actual new set. He sees what it takes to get them ready for the tabletop, shows the size of the models, and tells you the GOTCHAS to be aware of when building them!
We are going to show you everything including the sprues, bits, and of course how big they are. That way you can decide if these are worth your hard-earned hobby dollars. Let’s go!
Primaris Outrider Bikes: Unboxing & Build
Get Yours For Less From Amazon or Dicehead Games!
These were in the Indomitus box, but now you can grab them on their own. The kit is $60 for three of them, but they are super hard to get! Normally, you could get yours for less other places, but all stores only got two of each and some didn’t even get any… If you want them, grab them quickly! Because earlier in the week they were already out of stock, but it looks like they are back in stock as of writing this. With all that said, let’s jump into the kit!
Instructions and Sprues
With these being ETB push-fit, the instructions are super simple. They are well laid out and give you plenty of angles to make sure you get it all right. Just to note, these are the exact same kit as in the Indomitus set. Rob used the Tamiya Extra thin cement when making them, to stop any gapping. But you can also build them without glue.
You get two sprues with the kit. All the parts are highly detailed, and again, since these are push-fit there aren’t too many mold lines to cut. Just note, you will have to drill out the bolters and a couple of other things if you want all the detail.
Completed Minis
They look great! They are about 3″ long with a pretty cool Akira look (as we’ve seen plenty of memes about it!). It’s not the most detailed thing ever, but they really look great and are super easy to build! With this being push-fit, they go together almost as fast as you can clip them out!
Size of Minis
They are fairly big and Rob even breaks out the ruler to make it true.
That does it for this one, overall some pretty cool minis! The build was easy and they look great. Just been really hard to find as of late, so if you see a kit for under the $60 price, you should grab it.
