Would you like to help shape the Matched Play gaming experience for Warhammer 40k? 

We are looking to add a Matched Play specialist to our 40k Games Development team, you will be responsible for writing clear, technically accurate, and engaging rules content for Codexes and Matched Play Mission Packs. 

You will be expected to manage the needs of multiple parallel tasks, collaborate with the rest of the Games Development team, work with internal and external playtesting teams to gather feedback, and iterate on your designs to improve balance. You will work hand in hand with background writers, graphic designers,  artists, and editors to create products of exceptional quality.

Requirements:

GW Hiring matched

  • Extensive experience playing at tournaments.
  • Experience writing home-brew rules content for Warhammer 40k or other tabletop games.
  • Creative writing skills.
  • Professional experience or education in board game or video game design.
  • A statistics and mathematics foundation.
  • Contribution to podcasts, videos or other community content focused on Warhammer 40k.

We’re looking for individuals who are self-motivated, who have a deep understanding of  Warhammer 40k, have a keen attention to detail, and an analytical mind.
