Grab your allies and prepare for warp travel; Owlcat Games dropped the release date and trailer for Warhammer 40k Rogue Trader CRPG game
If you’ve ever wanted to experience the life of a licensed trader traveling throughout the galaxy, then you’ll be excited to hear that Rogue Trader will be dropping this year!
RPG fans have been getting pampered this year, adding Rogue Trader onto the tail end of 2023 to finish things off. This has been on beta for a while now, so some of you might be familiar with the gameplay, but from everything we’ve heard, it’s a super fun game!
Labeled as the first classic CRPG to take place in the 40k universe, we’re going to dive into the recent trailer to give you a taste of what’s to come!
Owlcat Games set to Release New Warhammer CRPG Rogue Trader This Year!
So, as previously stated, in the new 40k CRPG Rogue Trader, you’ll be taking the place of… well, of a Rogue Trader. The imperium officially licenses these individuals to travel around the galaxy and trade with different alien species, which is a fascinating premise for a game.
You’ll carve out your route among the stars to stake your claim and make your name known.
From the combat shown in the trailer, you’ll be in good hands if you like other RPGs like the more recent Baldurs Gate 3. In addition to the classic combat style, it looks like there will be destructible environmental elements, which is always exciting.
Fighting hand to hand won’t be enough, as you’ll also have to defend yourself aboard your ship!
And just in case you were feeling a little spicy, they revealed that you could ally yourself with the Drukhari if you fancy it, and who doesn’t fancy that?
Rogue Trader releases December 7th for American readers, but that doesn’t mean you can’t lock in your copy right now!
The game is open for pre-order and has several different pre-order tiers, including one that gives early access!
They also have a collectors edition order with a bunch of cool swag, including all the stuff from the Developer’s Digital Pack!
