1st Place: Kyle Jackling – Blood Angels Army Lists

At the Battle for the Fort GT, Kyle’s Blood Angels soared to victory with a list that perfectly balanced raw aggression, tactical finesse, and the chapter’s signature flair for close combat. With iconic characters, elite infantry, and just enough firepower to keep the opposition guessing, Kyle’s army played like a beautifully orchestrated charge—bold, precise, and utterly devastating.

Let’s break down how the sons of Sanguinius claimed the Fort and left their opponents red with regret.

Kyle Jackling 1

Kyle’s leadership team brought both style and substance to the battlefield. Leading the charge was a Captain, providing vital Command Points and a once-per-battle buff that ensured the Blood Angels hit even harder when it mattered most. This wasn’t just a leader—it was the glue holding the army’s strategy together.

Supporting him was Mephiston, the Lord of Death, who proved that psychic mastery and raw melee power are a terrifying combination. Acting as a lone operative, Mephiston could single-handedly smash through enemy lines, turning any engagement into a one-sided affair.

Dante, the golden-armored paragon of the Blood Angels, added his own touch of brilliance by enhancing the mobility of jump pack units. His ability to guide his forces into perfect positions made him an invaluable asset for a list that thrives on speed and aggression.

Two Lieutenants rounded out the roster, each bringing their own flavor to the fight. One provided Lethal Hits, while the other wielded a combi-weapon for better wound re-rolls and a touch of ranged support. And then there was The Sanguinor, an ethereal melee powerhouse who could deep strike into battle, delivering swift and decisive retribution exactly where it was needed.

Kyle kept his Battleline simple with a single unit of Assault Intercessors, perfect for securing objectives and pushing up the board. A single Impulsor provided transport and protection for these troops, ensuring they could get into position safely in the early game.

The real magic happened with two units of Assault Intercessors equipped with jump packs. These highly mobile squads embodied the Blood Angels’ philosophy of speed and aggression, leaping into the fray with ease and striking hard where the enemy least expected it.

Kyle Jackling 2

While the Blood Angels are known for their melee prowess, Kyle’s list included some heavy support to keep things balanced. A Baal Predator brought reliable ranged firepower, offering a versatile tool for dealing with infantry and light vehicles.

Meanwhile, two Gladiator Lancersbest 40k armies meta blood angels sanguinor painted model win rate background graph hor wal added serious anti-armor capabilities, ensuring that no enemy tank was safe on the battlefield. These armored units provided a solid counterweight to the melee-focused core of the army.

Kyle Jackling 3

Elite infantry was the beating heart of Kyle’s list, and the Bladeguard Veterans and Sanguinary Guard delivered in spades. The Bladeguard brought durability and brutal close-combat power, making them ideal for holding critical positions or leading key charges.

The Sanguinary Guard, on the other hand, brought the elegance and lethality that defines the Blood Angels. With their gleaming golden armor and devastating melee weapons, they turned every combat into a masterclass in carnage.

To keep his opponents on their toes, Kyle allied in a Callidus Assassin. This sneaky operative excelled at disrupting enemy plans and taking out high-value targets. As a lone operative, the Callidus added an unpredictable element to the list, ensuring that no opponent could fully anticipate Kyle’s moves.

At its core, Kyle’s list embodied the Blood Angels’ philosophy: strike fast, strike hard, and overwhelm the enemy before they can react. With their unparalleled mobility, devastating melee prowess, and just enough ranged firepower to keep opponents honest, Kyle’s army didn’t just win—it ascended to a poetic victory that would make Sanguinius proud.

These top army lists from The Battle for the Fort GT are a reminder that the Blood Angels can win if built with every unit having a purpose and every move is part of a grand strategy. With a little bit of finesse, they can hold their own against even the deadliest Death Guard army lists.

The performance of these armies serves as a testament to the ever-evolving nature of the competitive Warhammer 40k meta. Studying these winning army lists for their tactical synergies provides valuable insights for honing your strategic approach.
