Armies-on-Parade-Lore-40k-title-wal-harlequinsShadowseers are masters of manipulating minds as they use their powers to rip apart enemies with sublime skill and psychic mastery.

While they aren’t getting any codex love soon, who doesn’t love these killer clowns from outer space? They are just super fun and like all of the Harlequins are insanely interesting and we like learning about their history. Get out your best holo-suit and let’s learn about some Shadowseer lore!

Shadowseers Powerful Trickery

Shadowseers can manipulate the minds of their enemies, and fellow Eldar, with ease. It is actually their strongest weapon in battle, where an Ork just roars forward to victory, the Shadowseers take a more subtle, but still deadly path. They can literally turn their enemies’ senses against themselves. This will drive the simple men of the Imperium mad before a single blow is struck. When they finally get in range the battle is already won. Oh, and not to mention they are also powerful psykers, so yeah, that helps as well.

At Home in the Mayhem

Shadowseer WargearThey thrive in the mayhem of battle, where lesser races may crack, they soar. They use their powers to terrify the enemy before finally taking them down. They shoot nightmares so vivid into the minds of their enemies, they can no longer see the battlefield. All they see is horror. Even the mighty Space Marines fall prey to their powers. While they aren’t as dreadful in combat as Solitaires, they play a different role.

The Shadowseers act as the role of fate, in both the Harlequin performances and on the battlefield. They often narrate the plays in many ways, including narration, singing, and rhyming. But it doesn’t stop there, they also use some of their battlefield wargear to enhance the plays. They launch their Creidann grenade launchers to create slight hallucinogenic effects and giant flashes of multi-colored light. They are consumate showmen, both on and off the battlefield.

Featureless Fighters

The one defining feature of a Shadowseer? The mirrored mask reflects the presence of others. Very few beings in the galaxy have ever even seen the face of a Shadowseer. But not only does the mirrored mask reflect like normal, each person who gazes upon the mask sees something different. What would you see? Maybe you would cower or have your true self revealed? Who knows?

That does it for this one! They are some really cool figures in the 40k universe.
