3rd Place: Josh Roberts – Chaos Space Marines
2nd Place: Jonny Simmons – Adeptus Mechanicus
1st Place: Andy Quas-Cohen – Necrons
A Nightbringer led Andy’s Necrons for a super solid solo model, followed by The Silent King for the single strongest model in the faction, sporting great support for the list and a great body for combat, too. Two Hexmark Destroyers are also here to help with some ranged shot output. Andy ‘s army also had two units of Deathmarks to help target characters, while two units of Flayed Ones added a few melee bodies to charge in.
A Canoptek Spyder brings in good auras and acts as another great close-combat body. Two Doomsday Arks switch up the pace with some mobility, and more ranged support, while a Tesseract Vault is a huge model with fantastic ranged output.
The Sheffield Super Major showcased some impressive displays of strategic prowess and tactical Warhammer 40k acumen with these army lists. Chaos Space Marines, Ad Mech, and Necrons claimed the top spots, showcasing a potential shift in what players should consider.
Overall, studying these lists can provide valuable insights and inspiration for your own army-building for both newer Warhammer 40k players and pros alike.
