Don’t miss our unbox and build of the 40k Sisters of Battle Rhino Tank, as we compare it to the Immolator, and give you our thoughts on the design!
Today we are going to take a look at an old familiar friend with a whole lot of new bling. We are going to crack open the new Rhino and see just what you get for your hobby dollars. So let’s get started.
Editor’s Note: The Sisters Rhino is $60, not the $70 that we mentioned in the video. That makes it cheaper than the Forge World Deimos Rhino by $6 currently.

The kit comes with a wealth of optional extras including a filigreed glacis plate, arched viewing ports and a hunter-killer missile. It also features a fully-detailed interior, with a communications array and boltgun on arming rack, and an optional Sororitas driver/gunner.
This set is supplied in 103 plastic components, and an Adepta Sororitas Transfer Sheet is also included.
If you have assembled the Rhino before, then this kit will not have a lot of surprises as it is basically your Rhino of old. It just trades the old weapons sprue for the Sisters upgrade sprue. So assembling this kit for some will be like visiting an old friend.
That being said the only thing new in this kit for 2020 is this upgrade sprue. Now that might make some folks sad, but there is a lot of bits on this sprue and if you are crafty you can save some bits for future Sisters vehicle upgrades.
And here it is! Now we didn’t utilize all the bits from the upgrade sprue but that’s one of the great things about Sisters of Battle. You can keep it simple yet elegant, or you can go over the top with trim and bling. Either way this new kit may not be super exciting to some older hobbyists, but if you are just starting out on your hobby journey it can be a fun addition to your army.
As always, keep those hobby muscles strong, stay in the trenches, and check out our video below! Patreon supporters of Spikey Bits get models like this each month shipped to them.
