When you first open the box you will see that this comes with a ton of the Sector Manufactorum terrain. Though probably not as popular as the terrain that came in the first starter set, the Manufactorum terrain is still pretty cool. If you don’t already have a table full of this dope terrain then this new starter may be great for your terrain collection.
Kill Team also comes with two previous kill teams of five Primaris Space Marines Reivers and ten T’au Empire Fire Warriors.
Both of these teams were previously released in their own box, however they are both out of print now. That being said if you haven’t already made that purchase or are just starting out in the world of Kill Team then these points are probably a non-factor for you.
Let’s take a look at the value break down for this new box:
- Fangs of Ulfrich (Reivers Sq) $35
- Advance Team Starpulse (Tau Fire Warriors Kit) $50
- Kill Team Core Manual $40
- Sector Mechanicus Alchomite Stack (comes in Fangs of Ulfrich Box) $50
- Ferratonic Incinerator (It’s not the exact kit as there may be some bonus scaffolding. But it’s the closest configuration we’ve seen) $75
- Third Mechanicus Terrain stack (spotted in the back of the set picture, doesn’t come with any other GW terrain kit) $25?
- Total MSRP: $275 Total Savings: $115
So any way you slice it, this new box is a savings versus full retail for the same items. Plus it’s a great way to start your journey into the world of 40k skirmish!
As always, keep those hobby muscles strong, stay in the trenches, and check out our unboxing video below!
