Check out this excellent homebrew list that emerged in a tournament over the weekend that shows that sometimes it’s more about the general’s skill than what you play.

Warzone Atlanta 2023: Namon Allen – T’au Empire 5th Place
Namon’s Tau list was led by Farsight for a solid tank model, and Shadowsun for the best single model in the faction. Crisis suits are next and add in some solid bodies with a great set of weapons.
Three units of Ghostkeels add in some larger models with good abilities and solid ranged weapons on pretty durable bodies. Kroot hounds add in some cheap models to maybe distract an enemy, while two Piranhas and Stealth Drones add in some mobility.
A Riptide adds another large model with a great ranged profile to lay down the hurt down range. Three Gunships bring even more mobility and ranged power, doubling down on a pretty large group of mobility picks in the list.
Two units of Stealth Suits and Tetras bring in the last set of models that each offer decent weapons and targeting options for overall very cheap point costs.
