5th Place: Daniel Tercha – Chaos Knights
4th Place: Bjorn Eriksson – Imperial Knights
3rd Place: Magnus Forslund – T’au Empire
Magnus’ Tau scored a top 3 among the Eldar plague led by Shadowsun as the single best model in the faction, plus two Coldstars for their fantastic movement buff and handing out the assault keyword to weapons in the units they lead.
Other units start off with a Broadside for its durability and fantastic ranged weapons, along with two Crisis units that pair up with the Coldstar Commanders.
There are 2 Ghostkeels, which actually have solid ranged options and act as super-efficient solo models. That is followed by a Hammerhead for a not-so-expensive, super solid long-range threat. Two Units of Kroot act as some very cheap meat shields.
Next are two Krootox Riders for some cheaper solo models that actually get a small buff to hit when near other Kroot.
Back to more standard Tau models, there’s a Pathfinder team for a closer range-centric troop. There is also a single Piranha, bringing in a great mobility option at a low point price tag.
The list then ends with a Stealth battlesuit unit for some chaff-clearing options and a unit of tetras for more cheap mobility.
