Don’t miss the battle of Greenskins vs Green Armor as the Orks try to take down the Dark Angels.

Everyone’s favorite master of the Orks is back this week in Nights At The Game Table, with Kevin O’Connor and his horde of boyz bringing their WAUUUUUUUUUUUUUGH against Jacob Vigil and his band of Dark Angel Ravenwings.

This is a Glory Seeker match, meaning that both armies are hurtling into the fight with only one goal: kill as much as possible. Of course, when combined with the twist of “Eager to Fight” (as both armies undoubtedly are), we’ll see both armies gearing up for an absolute bloodbath.

Jacob’s army is split into two Outrider main detachments, with one lead by a Talon Master leading three squads of bikers equipped with flamers and combi flamers. The second detachment is led by Sammael, who’s riding at the head of 3 squads of Attack Bikes equipped with twin bolters and heavy bolters. It’s a biker gang from Hell, and these fast-moving units are threatening to run circles around anyone who stands in their way!

Of course, Kevin’s coming equipped with a Battalion detachment of 70 boyz, as well as 3 cannons and some Elites lugging around tank-busters to back up the swarm. Of course, he’s also planning on meeting the Ravenwings bike-to-bike with a Big Mekboy on a bike with a custom forcefield.

When combined with a Warboss and Weird Boy that Kevin is also fielding, they should be able to match the Ravenwing’s mobile death machines in terms of pure destructive power.

By virtue of rolling a lucky six, the Orks take the first turn, with Kevin mobbing up his forces while the Weird Boy uses the psychic face to make them jump forward. As Jacob notes, his unit’s mobility is rendered ineffective if the Orks surround him before he can even move. Although Sammael allows the Ravenwings to reroll certain fails, the sheer amount of firepower from the Orks stops the first wave of Ravenwings in their tracks.

Undeterred, Jacob swings in his right flank, cutting off the Orks and using the intractable stratagem to allow some units to fall back but continue to shoot. They swoop in with some firepower on their own, cutting down a swath of orks with precise boltgun fire. The right flank then opens up with their flamers, leaving the battlefield full of the smell of crispy Ork flesh.

Finally, the Talon Master brings his considerable firepower to bear, with his heavy bolter ripping into Kevin’s cannons. Not satisfied with simply shooting, the Talon Master charges in with Sammael following close behind. They begin chopping through the line of Orks clamoring to get to them, showing no mercy as they carve their way towards Kevin’s heavy weapons.

As the first turn ends, the Ravenwings have inflicted plenty of casualties, but Kevin certainly has plenty of Orks in reserve! Will they be able to overwhelm the Dark Angels, or will the Ravenwings be able to outmaneuver their single-minded foes?
